No, our products are not reusable, they are disposable. The products themselves are biodegradable and therefore environmentally friendly.

Yoni tampons and pads are biodegradable but we do not recommend flushing them as all tampons and pads can cause blockages in your plumbing or septic systems.
Yes, Yoni tampons are biodegradable. You can throw them on the compost heap because they are made from 100% organic cotton. Unfortunately, the individual packaging of the tampon (the plastic wrapper) is not biodegradable. We tried bioplastic but it isn’t strong enough yet to hold the tampon together or it made it impossible to open. This is something we are working on and hope to change in the future. And of course don’t forget to throw the outer carton packaging in the paper bin.
Where our organic cotton is sourced differs per batch of tampons and pads. We can trace the source via the batch number found on each box of Yoni product. All sources have been certified by the SOIL Association according to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).
Yoni tampons are made in Germany and Yoni pads and pantyliners are made in Italy.
On all of Yoni product packaging you will find a number of droplets. These droplets stand for the absorbency of the product and are industry standard. This makes it easy to compare products! For example if you are now using a tampon or pad with 3 droplets, then you can best switch to a Yoni product with 3 droplets as well.
Yes! Organic cotton is not only better for your body and the planet, but it’s also highly absorbent and will protect you from leakage as well as synthetic products. Also our pads and liners stay in place due to the strong adhesive backing which is also biodegradable.
