Coucou Suzette
We’ve secretly been following Coucou Suzette on Instagram for a long time without realizing that this was actually for sale. On her colorful account, you’re greeted by all sorts of fantastically strange accessories; pins, patches, and earrings you didn’t know you needed (how did we live without pin-up boobs all this time?).
All items that are made are inspired by colorful Pop Art, Japanese Kitsch and 90s Girl Power. Juliette studied illustration at the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and lived in Tokyo for a while where she fell in love with the quirky Japanese kitsch and sexiness. And that is reflected in her designs. Pin-up girls, cocktail socks, patches in the shape of lips, a piece of sashimi on a safety pin and lots of glitter. All items are handmade in her Parisian studio and are shipped worldwide. Some of Coucou Suzette’s items are for sale in the TITS store in Amsterdam.
