New girls in the Yoni team: meet Zaza (L), Perla (M), Laura (R) and Coco. Read on to get to know our new Yoni girls. And we promise: you will!
LET’S GO ZAZA
Through Upstarter, Zaza started her Marketing Traineeship this month (the best training center for adults). In the coming 6 months, she will focus on a big mission: making sure everyone in the Netherlands and Belgium knows about Yoni. How? Project Yoni Toilet Take-Overs. She will definitely keep you informed via the Yoni twitter , so make sure you follow us ;-)
Zaza’s favorite: soto soup from Warung Mini. Popcorn, salty and sweet mixed. And waking up really early and simply enjoying the morning dew in the park when the sun has just risen.
Besides Yoni, Zaza works as a copywriter for Wonderbly , a London start-up that personalizes children’s books in a high-tech way. But, because you really are ‘never finished developing’, she is in seventh heaven with this great opportunity at Yoni <3
Her tips?
“Corn waffles with a soft-boiled egg and avocado.. yummmm! And the book ‘The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A Fuck’. A game changer! And go and drink some home-brewed jenever in the Flevopark in Amsterdam, very idyllic”
Secondly…. PERLA!
Perla is working on her visual graduation research with Yoni for her education at Academie Artemis. For her research, Perla delves into Yoni’s communication and visual identity. Do you have ideas about this? Send her a message via info@yoni.care
As a teenager she looked forward to a career as a shot putter (really!) but eventually succumbed to the world of fashion, styling and design. Through her own jewelry brand Perla by Eenvoud (check it out here ) she sells incredibly beautiful handmade objects. Perla by Eenvoud is just the beginning; her dream is to have a flourishing business of her own.
Perla’s favorite? Toast with butter and chocolate sprinkles and cuddling with dogs.
And her tip-top tips for you:
“Paris/ Puce Flea market Porte de Montreuil: when you get off at the metro stop you first think where have I ended up, high black market content. But once you go a bit further you end up in a mega nice neighborhood with all kinds of antique shops/stalls, junk, design. Mini zigzag streets. Very French! And please watch the movie: Men and Chicken. Most bizarre and hilarious movie I have ever seen. With very nice art direction..”
LA LA LAURA
Laura is a creative intern who focuses on the look and feel of Yoni’s social media. With a background in media studies and styling, Laura always wants to add the right touch to visualize a beautiful brand story. At Yoni, she will create, photograph, and shoot a lot of video.
Laura’s favorite? She gets so happy from taking pictures and looking at those of others, finding gems at the flea market, nice trips, museums and playing volleyball. Yes, Laura is a sporty team player. We are in our element with this lovely addition.
“You can wake me up at night for anything my grandma makes, but her vermicelli pudding (although it doesn’t sound very charming) is really the best. Send an email to info@yoni.care for the recipe. Oh, and don’t forget the chocolate.”
Laura’s guilty pleasures (and golden tip for the enthusiast)… Cycling through Amsterdam on Sunday evening and picking the most beautiful things from the streets that people put in the bulky waste. Night swimming and a trip to Morocco! The colors, people and light are so incredibly beautiful there!
We’re in love with the COCO
Last but not least: Coco. Coco is our new office cuddly toy! Coco even has her own Instagram , as a good cuddly dog should. But come visit us for a cup of tea, a nice chat and a heeeeerful cuddle with Coco.
