If you still feel the cup, there could be several causes:

  1. It hasn’t properly created a vacuum yet. While holding it by the base (above the stem), try turning it 360 degrees. If it has created a vacuum, this should be possible. If this is not possible, you can try to insert it again, possibly with a different type of fold.
  2. The cup is not inserted deep enough. You can try to insert it in a different way, or push it up a bit.
  3. The cup is too long. If your cervix is low during your period, it may be that the Yoni cup is just too long, and therefore protrudes noticeably
